  The 2017 TU-Automotive Detroit exhibition was held from June 7 through June 8, 2017, in Novi, Michigan, U.S. More than 3,000 people attended TU-Automotive Detroit, which featured approximately 150 speakers and more than 130 exhibitors. Presentations in this year's iteration of the conference featured a wider range of topics beyond the common themes of autonomy, mobility, and connectivity, with session groupings specifically highlighting themes such as business strategy, urban mobility, and user vehicle experience. These new topics emphasized the idea of the automotive industry in the midst of a transformation, with new technologies and entities that need to be accounted for.
