- The Global Light Vehicle (LV) selling rate is estimated at 80 mn units/year for November. While this was an improvement on the preceding two-month average of 75 mn units/year, it was not much better than the pandemic-struck 2020 result of 78 mn units.
- The supply crisis continues to suppress LV demand in the Americas and Europe, as markets are faced with tight inventory and higher prices. In parts of Asia, there are some signs the worst of the crisis is over, though demand will continue to be disrupted well into 2022.
