The China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) announced the production and sales volumes of passenger cars (including sedans, SUVs, and MPVs, excluding minivans) for January 2024.
Retail
January retail sales volumes of passenger cars totaled 2.035 million units, reflecting a year-over-year (y/y) increase of 57.4%.
New Energy Vehicles (NEVs)
In January, wholesale volumes of New Energy passenger cars totaled 682,000 units, up 76.2% y/y.
