BMW Malaysia debuts locally assembled BMW i5 eDrive40 M Sport Pro EV

Reported on January 15, 2026, BMW Group Malaysia launched the BMW i5 eDrive40 M Sport Pro, its first locally assembled (CKD) electric vehicle (EV) in Malaysia and in the Asia-Pacific region. Price starts at MYR 368,800, and as a CKD EV, it is tax-free until December 31, 2027.
The 400V EV is powered by a 313 PS/400 Nm....
