Ford lays off 330 workers at Chicago Stamping, Lima Engine plants due to strike
On October 2, Ford announced that the 2023 UAW strike at the Chicago Assembly Plant, which normally builds the Ford Explorer and Lincoln Aviator, has led to 330 employees being laid off at the Chicago Stamping Plant and Lima Engine Plant that makes parts for the two SUVs.
