Supply chain: Honda Civic (USA)
The Honda Civic, Honda's highly popular compact car in the U.S. market, is currently in its 11th generation and has established a strong position within the compact vehicle segment through continuous improvements and refinements. A full model change to the 12th generation is scheduled for 2028. Production plants in North America are Alliston plant in Canada and Greensburg plant in Indiana, USA. Average monthly sales in the U.S. market during January to June 2026 were approximately 22,000 units. Key characteristics of parts procurement and supplier selection for the Civic include maintaining strong relationships with major Japanese suppliers (Astemo, Denso, etc.), maximizing local sourcing, and utilizing global mega-suppliers (Aumovio, MAHLE, etc.) for certain advanced and specialized components.
