  • Flash report: China's production in July falls by 0.7%
Weighed down by sluggish domestic sales that drop 23.6% year-on-year. Meanwhile, exports surge by 81.3%—maintaining a high level by exceeding the one-million-unit mark for the second consecutive month—yet total production volume remains below the level of the same month last year.

  • Mexico's production falls by 2.2% in July
Driven by a decline in output amid a worsening export environment to the U.S. resulting from the imposition of additional tariffs on automobiles and parts. Production volumes for models such as Nissan's Kicks, Stellantis's Compass, and Honda's HR-V fall below year-earlier levels. Maverick (Ford) and Silverado (GM) increased production, but not enough to offset the decline.
