Major German suppliers such as ZF, Bosch, MAHLE, and Schaeffler, along with France’s Valeo, UK-origin GKN Automotive, and U.S.-based BorgWarner, are developing next-generation electric drive technologies.
Supply chain: Mazda CX-50 (USA)
Mazda's crossover SUV, the "CX-50," was launched in the North American market in April 2022. The hybrid model utilizes the Toyota Hybrid System (THS) with a 2.5L naturally aspirated engine, hybrid EV battery, and three electric motors. Produced exclusively at the Huntsville, Alabama plant.
