The RAM 1500 is a full-size light-duty pickup truck. It is available with a 3.0L inline-6 turbocharged engine or a 3.6L V6 and 5.7L V8 engine equipped with a 48V mild hybrid system. It is produced at the Sterling Heights plant in Michigan and the Saltillo plant in Mexico. In the first quarter of 2026, Ram brand sales were strong, driven by the 1500. Many components are supplied by global mega-suppliers, including Gestamp for door frames, Bosch for body mechanism motors, and Brose for seat frames. Japanese Tier 1 suppliers are also represented, such as Mitsuboshi Belting for V-belts, Marelli (U.S. base) for instrument cluster panels, Denso (Mexico base) for HVAC flap actuators, and Nippon Seiki (Mexico base) for the HUD.
