Summary
Shanghai Motor Show 2011 (Auto Shanghai 2011) was held in Shanghai from April 21st to 28th, 2011 (Press days: April 19th and 20th).
The following is a summary of reports on the exhibition of 55 new models to be launched from April 2011 to 2013 by six major state-owned OEMs in China - SAIC (Shanghai Motor Corp.), DFM (Dongfeng Motor Corp.), FAW (China FAW Group), CHANA (Changan Automobile Group), BAIC (Beijing Automotive Group), and GAC (Guangzhou Automobile Group).
Details are reported of 26 new energy vehicles (including 3 PHEVs, 10 HEVs including Micro HEV, and 13 EVs), and 29 other new production vehicles.

BAIC Motor's Beijing B70: A compact city SUV that is planned to be launched at the end of 2012
(5-door, 5-seat).
BAIC Motor's Beijing BC301: A compact hatchback under Beijing brand. The company is
said to target to sell 200,000 a year by 2013.
BAIC Motor's Beijing BC302: A sedan model of the Beijing BC301, which is scheduled to be launched in 2011.
BAIC Motor's Weiwang 306:
It is based on Daihatsu's Gran Max Van. It is the first minivan model under "Weiwang" brand.
The company is said to sell 200,000 a year by 2013. A limited sale begins in April 2011.

Guangqi Honda Automobile's Everus S1: The first model under its own brand, Everus, which the
company independently developed based on the former City. It is launched in April 2011.
GAC Gonow Automobile's Gonow 6440 concept: A concept car of a family minivan (7/8-seat)
which is scheduled to be launched as early as in December 2011.
GAC Gonow Automobile's Aoosed G5 2012-model: The model is planned to be launched in 2012.
GAC Gonow Automobile's Caiyun 500 Fan gasoline-powered model: A high-end double cab pickup
that is scheduled to be launched in the second half of 2011 and uses Isuzu's chassis technology.
