Nov. 1936 | Toyo Radiator Manufacturing Co., Ltd. was established with capital of 500 thousand yen to manufacture and sell radiators for automobiles and other internal combustion engines, oil coolers, etc. |
Jan. 1937 | Started operations at the Kawasaki Plant. |
Aug. 1940 | Started operations at the Nagoya Plant. |
May 1944 | Company name was changed to Toyo Reikyakuki Co., Ltd. |
Aug. 1951 | Company name was changed to Toyo Radiator Co., Ltd. |
Nov. 1959 | Changed the names of the Kawasaki Plant and Nagoya Plant to Kawasaki Works and Nagoya Works, respectively. |
Apr. 1960 | Started operations at the Hatano Plant. Opened an R&D facility. |
