Acquired steel works at Hofors, and the Katrineholm foundry.
1917 Built its first factory in France at Bois-Colombes, Paris.
1920 Established its subsidiary, SKF Industries Inc.
1936 Its subsidiary, British SKF, went public.
2010 Acquired lubrication systems provider Lincoln Industrial Corporation from Harbour Group of USA.
2011 Acquired 100% ownership of International Component Supply.
2012 Acquired General Bearing Corporation (GBC).
Dec. 2018 Completed divestiture of its linear and actuation technology business to Triton for SEK 2.75 billion.
