-In FY ended March 2016, consolidated sales were JPY 143,396 million (a 3.8% increase on a year-over-year (y/y) basis)), operating income was JPY 13,971 million (a 3.6% decrease y/y), ordinary income was JPY 14,858 million (a 11.3% decrease y/y), net income attributable to owners of the parent was JPY 9,199 million (a 3.3% decrease y/y). Net sales rose to the highest level to date. Automotive and construction machinery industries segment accounted for 61.6% of the Company's overall sales.

  • Mexico: Boosted investment in EKK Eagle Industry Mexico S.A. de C.V..
  • France: Acquired ABC Technology. Turned it to Eagle ABC Technology S.A.S., a 100% subsidiary.
  • Hungary: Began building a new factory at the production base Eagle Industry Hungary Kft.


-Surface texturing technology to achieve "sealing" and "lubrication" in a seal. Applying this technology to mechanical seal for water pump and high speed mechanical seal for turbocharger, the Company started introduction of new products.

Oct. 1964 Established as "Nihon Seal All Co., Ltd."
June, 1978 Changed the company name to "Eagle Industry Co., Ltd."
June, 1979 Established Eagle Industry Taiwan Corporation in Taiwan.
Oct. 1979 Established Eagle EG&G Inc. (currently EKK Eagle America Inc.) in order to manufacture and sell bellow valves in the U.S.A.
Jane, 1982 Listed on the Second Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
Apr. 1985 Established Ukan Precision Co., Ltd.
Oct. 1987 Established P.T. Eagle Industry Indonesia in Indonesia.
Dec. 1987 The Company, NOK, and Zuishin Tsusho Corporation (Korea) jointly established NOK Eagle Korea Co., Ltd. in order to manufacture and sell mechanical seals.
