Jun. 2003 Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd. (DFL) was established jointly between Dongfeng Motor Corp. and Nissan Motor Co., Ltd.
Aug. 2003 Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd. (DFL) absorbed the automotive components business of the Dongfeng Motor Group and established the Parts & Components Business Unit.
Sep. 2003 Dongfeng Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. established Dongfeng Visteon Automotive Trim Systems Co., Ltd. jointly with Yanfeng Visteon Automotive Trim Systems Co., Ltd. and Visteon.
Mar. 2004 Behr invested in acquiring a 50% share in Dongfeng Radiator Co., Ltd., a radiator production subsidiary of Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd., and established Dongfeng Behr Thermal Systems Co., Ltd.
Mar. 2005 The Company and Dana signed a joint venture agreement to establish Dongfeng -Dana Axle Co., Ltd. (Certain terms of the original agreement were renegotiated after Dana filed for reorganization under Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code in March 2006. Under the amendments and other agreements signed by both companies, Dana Mauritius Ltd. will make an initial payment of CNY 38.8 million (approximately USD 5 million) to Dongfeng for a 4-percent equity interest in the joint venture by the end of March 2007. Dana Mauritius will purchase the remaining 46-percent equity interest after April 1, 2008, and within three years of receiving the aforementioned government approvals.)
