Strategic cooperation

-BorgWarner announced it is continuing to expand its product portfolio for battery electric and hybrid commercial vehicles by agreeing to form a joint venture with Shaanxi Fast Auto Drive Group, a China-based market-leading commercial vehicle (CV) parts supplier specializing in transmission and drivetrain systems.

The new joint venture will produce high-voltage inverters for high efficiency commercial vehicles such as heavy-duty trucks and off-road vehicles.

FAST group is a China-based market- provider specializing in CV transmission and drivetrain systems as well as high-end intelligent manufacturing equipment.

Production start

-Fast Group announced that Shaanxi Fast Songzheng Electric Drive System Co., Ltd. (Fast Songzheng), a subsidiary, officially commissioned China’s first commercial vehicle (CV) high-power flat wire motor automated production line. The automated production line adopts a modular design to enhance production line flexibility to the greatest extent to adapt to the characteristics of CV electric drives of small quantities and multiple batches, with an automation rate of over 90% for the production of core components such as stators. Exhibitions

-Fast Group announced its participation in the 2023 China International Auto Parts Conference (CIAPC) held in Guang’an, Sichuan from December 6 to 8 with Beyond Drive, e-Gallop, and E-shift series products.

Beyond Drive series exhibits included a newly developed next-generation high-end heavy-duty integrated automated manual transmission (AMT) for commercial vehicles. Containing a highly integrated electromechanical system, this AMT features a central pneumatic clutch actuator, dual countershafts, full-helical gears, and a full gear grinding design.

The B10 lifetime reaches two million kilometers. e-Gallop series exhibits included the FS4E200-2 integrated electric powertrain for 31t to 49t battery electric heavy trucks and the F2HD45-P dedicated hybrid transmission system for 4.5t to 10t light trucks. Also exhibited were E-shift series AMTs for special-purpose vehicles such as medium trucks.

Launched the “e-Gallop” brand

-The Company announced the launch of the “e-Gallop” brand for New Energy Vehicles (NEVs). Fast also unveiled 4 of its latest products for commercial NEVs, including the FS4E200-2 highly integrated electric drive system, the FJE7200 drive system for electric vehicles, the F8HA95M AMT (automated manual transmission) for hybrid vehicles, and the FSJE13 three-in-one electric drive system for passenger vehicles. The products are used in medium- and heavy-duty highway transport vehicles, specialty vehicles, special-purpose vehicles, large and medium-sized buses, city buses, tour buses, small buses, school buses, etc.
Xi'an Fast Automotive Transmission Co., Ltd. (Fast Xi'an High-tech Plant)		Total area 595,100 square meters, with a total construction area of 322,300 square meters, it has gear processing production lines, heat treatment production lines and heavy-duty transmission assembly production lines. It has an annual production capacity of 600,000 double intermediate shaft medium- and heavy-duty automotive transmissions and a processing capacity of more than 2 million gears. Baoji Fast Foundry Company (Fast Baoji Foundry Plant)		Total investment of CNY 580 million, covering an area of about 240,000 square meters. It is an important casting production base of Fast Gear Group, with an annual production capacity of 50,000 tons of transmission HT castings, 300,000 pieces of lost foam aluminum alloy transmission housings, 1.1 million pieces of various transmission and automotive product die castings and 8,000 remanufactured transmission assemblies.
Fast Xianyang Precision Machinery Branch (Fast Xianyang Plant)		The total investment is CNY 730 million, covering an area of 148,000 square meters and a total construction area of 70,355.4 square meters. The plant has an annual production capacity of 1.5 million sets of main box synchronizers, 350,000 sets of auxiliary box large center distance synchronizers, 650,000 sets of ordinary center distance synchronizers, and 100,000 sets of hydraulic retarders.
Shaanxi Fast Woke Gear Co., Ltd. (Woke Company)		The total number of employees is 700. There are currently two factory areas, east and west, with a total area of 187,000 square meters. The plants have an annual production capacity of 200,000 transmissions, 3 million shaft gears and parts.
Xi'an FC Intelligence Transmission Co., Ltd. (Shuangte Company)		It covers an area of 176,000 square meters with a total investment of CNY 1 billion. It mainly carries out R&D, production, and sales of heavy-duty automatic transmissions, and supply of gears, housings, miscellaneous parts and other mechanical components to Caterpillar. At present, the annual production capacity is 50,000 heavy-duty automatic transmissions and 1.5 million parts for export.
Fast Eaton (Xi'an) Power Transmission System Co., Ltd. (Fast Eaton Xi'an Company)		Mainly engaged in the research and development, production and sales of commercial vehicle and bus clutches, new energy torsional vibration dampers and related parts, with an annual production capacity of 520,000 clutch sets.
Fast Automotive Transmission (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (Fast Thailand)		The plant occupies a land area of 26,600 square meters, the first phase investment is USD 40 million. The plant building area is 9,800 square meters, and the reserved building area is 6,000 square meters. It mainly produces Fast double intermediate shaft series transmissions, and the product types are 5- to 24-speed commercial vehicle transmissions. Fast Eaton (Baoji) Light Transmission Co., Ltd. (Fast Eaton Baoji Company)		Mainly engaged in R&D, production, assembly, prototyping, sales, service, and aftermarket sales of transmissions and related parts for light-duty commercial vehicles (trucks and buses. Annual production capacity is 500,000 light commercial vehicle transmissions.
Shaanxi Fast Automotive Transmission Engineering Research Institute		Mainly engaged in the development of new energy products such as mechanical transmissions, AT/AMT automatic transmissions, hydraulic retarders, clutches, reducers and wheel-side reducers, and electric vehicle transmission systems.
Fast (Xi'an) Export Base		Total investment of CNY 670 million, covering an area of 80,500 square meters. Plant building floor space is 50,000 square meters. Annual production capacity is 3 million parts for export.
Shaanxi Fast Intelligent Braking System Co., Ltd.		Main engaged in the design, development, manufacturing, sales and service of automotive retarders, cylinders, power take-offs, automotive accessories, synchronizers, automotive electronics, brake system assemblies and parts. The total investment is CNY 2.15 billion, and the planned land area is nearly 400,000 square meters. It has the production capacity of 400,000 retarders per year.
Shaanxi Fast Santroll Electric Drive System Co., Ltd.		With registered capital of CNY 205 million, the company is mainly engaged in the research and development, production and sales of motors, controllers, all-in-one controllers, hybrid systems, power steering systems, and parts for commercial vehicles (including pickup trucks and light duty vehicles, off-highway equipment, and high-end equipment.
Shaanxi Fast Hedex Brake System Co., Ltd.		The first phase will build a high-performance disc brake production line with an annual output of 300,000 units The intelligent assembly production line has an output value of CNY 300 million. Fast Transmission Europe LLC.		Located at No. 10, Pearl Road, Sino-Belarusian Jushi Industrial Park, Smolevichi District, Minsk Oblast, Belarus, with a total investment of USD 16 million, the plant has an area of 2.87 hectares and a building area of 11,000 square meters for factories and office buildings. It mainly produces heavy-duty vehicle transmissions.
Baoji Fast Intelligent Transmission Co., Ltd.		Covering an area of 243,000 square meters, the company is mainly engaged in the research and development, production, and sales services of medium- and light-duty automotive transmissions and new energy transmission products.
Xi'an Fast High-Intelligence Technology Co., Ltd.		With a total investment of CNY 1.85 billion and an area of 185,000 square meters, it mainly produces the new generation of strategic products: S series transmissions and AMT automatic transmissions. After full production is reached, it will have an annual output of 200,000 transmissions with an annual output value of more than CNY 5 billion.
