Contracts

-Major contracts that the Company won in 2014 are given below:

  • An order to provide 580,000 coolant containers and 250,000 air flap systems to Tesla.
  • An order to provide Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) tanks for seven GM vehicles that are expected to be launched in 2017.
  • An order to supply Opel with a set of two deflectors for 240,000 vehicles a year.
  • An order to provide General Motors do Brasil with 315,000 intake manifolds a year. This was the first order that the Company subsidiary in Brazil received from GM.
  • An order to supply Volkswagen with 400,000 intake manifolds and charge air tubes. There are also future plans to provide Volkswagen with SCR tanks and intake scoops.
  • Orders for degas bottles featuring a two-stage cap for several vehicle models.
  • Orders for underbodies made from low-weight reinforced thermoplastics (LWRT) for sedans.
  • An order to provide intake manifolds for the Ferrari 488 GTB.
  • An order for windshield washer fluid bottles with integrated heat exchangers for 100,000 Mercedes-Benz E-Class models.
  • Multiple orders for SCR tanks for Daimler and BMW diesel vehicles to be launched in 2017.
  • An order to provide hood finishers and intake air ducts for future BMW models.

Investment in Germany

-The Company announced that it has started production in its new plant in Wackersdorf, Germany. In 2012, the Company acquired a 36,000-square-meter property in an industrial area. Construction for the new production facility began in May 2013. The amount invested totaled EUR 23 million. Currently, 3,300 square meters of floor space have been dedicated to production. An expansion that is expected to occur in 2015 will add 1,000 square meters for production and 1,500 square meters for logistics. A later expansion is expected to double the current space. The Wackersdorf plant's customers include BMW, Porsche, Plastic Omnium, Opel, Hella, Behr, Faurecia, and Magna Steyr. Parts produced at the plant include underbody systems, wheel arches and liners, engine compartment covers, air duct systems with controlled shutter systems, and windshield cowls. Investment outside Germany

<China>
-The Company announced that it has begun production at its new plant in Kunshan, Jiangsu Province, China. Its subsidiary, Roechling Automotive Kunshan, acquired a 30,000-square-meter site in the Kunshan Industrial Park in 2013. Construction of the new production facility began in November 2012. Upon the completion of the facility, assets were relocated from the Suzhou plant. Approximately EUR 10 million was invested into the Kunshan plant. Customers that the plant will supply include FAW VW, Ford, Daimler, Fiat, Iveco, Guangzhou Automobile, SAIC, Mazda, Continental, Bosch, Brose, Valeo, and other OEMs. The plant produces parts for such as intake manifolds, air-ducts with air-vent control, grille shutters, cylinder head covers, 3-D charge-air tubes, ABS pistons, door handle carriers, expansion tanks, and air-filter housings. <Europe>
-A portion of the Company's capital investment in the Automotive Plastics division in the fiscal year ended December 31, 2014, went towards expanding production capacities at the Company's plants in Laives, Italy; Koprivnice, Czech Republic; and Araia, Spain. (From a press release on May 19, 2015)
