R&D Structure

-The Company established a technical center in 1996.
-The Company established a post-doctoral research station in 2003, which is mainly responsible for cutting-edge research topics including:
automotive-wire braking systems,
electronic parking control systems,
automotive-wire electro-hydraulic braking systems,
vehicle stability and tire puncture emergency braking control systems

Industry-university Collaborations and Future Plans

-In 2000, the Company developed ABSs jointly with Tsinghua University.
-In 2005, the Company developed magnetic brakes jointly with Jiangsu University

Establish an ABS safety-testing ground

-The Company became the first Chinese auto-parts maker to establish an ABS safety-testing ground. The new ground is 1 kilometer long and 16 meters wide. Anti-collision fences and protection nets used in expressways are installed on both sides. Between the fences and road are green zones all of the same width. The test track has high μ and lowμ surfaces that enable the company to check the overall performance of ABSs and conduct driving tests as well. (From a press release, September 9, 2010)
