Gears: Bharat Gears is one of the largest gear manufacturers for OEMs in India, with a leading edge in gear technology in India. It is a major exporter to North American, European, and Asian countries. The Company manufactures a wide range of ring gears and pinions, transmission gears and shafts, differential gears, high-quality bevel gears and transmission gear products. The Company have also ventured into Hybrid vehicle Gears and the EV segment.
Auto Components: The company manufacture and supply a wide array of automotive parts including Automotive Clutches and Components, Turbo Chargers and Components, Driveline Products, Axle Shafts, Fly Wheel Assemblies and Rings, Propeller Shaft Components, U-J Cross, Steering Components, Differential Cages and Steel Wheel Rims.
Furnaces: BGL has tied-up with technology giant AFC-Holcroft, Michigan (USA), to produce high-end batch and continuous heat-treating furnaces and manufactures heat treatment furnaces on site primarily for the automotive component industry.

-The Company has embarked on a long-term strategy in the last few years that focused on exports.

1972	Foundation stone laid at Mumbra Factory.
1974	Inauguration of the Hypoid Plant and commencement of production with Gleason Machines.
1980	First Oerlikon Spiromatic Generator installed.
1981	Memorandum of association signed with AFC-Holcroft, USA for construction of furnaces in India to AFC-Holcroft design.
1985	Collaboration agreement with ZF Friedrichshafen AG, Germany (until May, 2007)
1987	Delivery for ZF S6-36 Gears & Shafts to Ashok Leyland Ltd. and ZFAG, Germany.
1987	Start of Assembly of ZF S5-24 Gear Boxes for Ashok Leyland.
1988	Start of business with Dana Corporation of the USA.
1994	The Company received ISO 9002 certification.
1996	The Company reaches sales turnover of INR 1 billion.
2000	The Company received QS 9000 certification. Start of Commercial production at Faridabad
2004	BGL Faridabad starts supply to Toyota Kirloskar Auto Parts.

2008	Introduction of Dry Cut Hobbing process.
2009	Introduction of Klinglenberg Close Loop CNC Gear Measuring system.
2010	Introduction of Bevel Gear dry cutting process with closed loop technology.
2013	Established a new plant in Lonand, Maharashtra, India.
2013	Introduction of Klingelnberg CNC gear cutting machine (C50) and shaving cutter sharpening machine (SRS-410)
2014	Started commercial production at the Lonand plant
2015	The company received TS16949, ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 certification for Lonand plant
2018	The company received IATF16949 certification for all three plants
2023	The company established a complete robotic line for manufacturing of gears for Hybrid vehicle
