Summary
Auto Expo, which is jointly organized by the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA), ran from February 5th to the 12th at India Expo Mart in Greater Noida. It was held in a 235,000 square meter exhibition hall, and major automakers all set up exhibitions.
This report will focus on concept vehicles and releases from Tata, Mahindra, Renault, Skoda, Volkswagen and Mercedes-Benz. Tata Motors announced global premier of Gravitas SUV and presented the single largest portfolio of EVs in India. Mahindra announced new electric vehicles eKUV 100, eXUV 300 and ATOM.
Renault presented its global line up. Skoda announced the global premier of VISION IN concept. Volkswagen presented four SUVs for the Indian market and announced the world premiere of Volkswagen Taigun. Mercedes-Benz showcased luxury cars for the Indian market.
