Summary
Auto Expo, which is jointly organized by the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA), ran from February 7th to the 14th at India Expo Mart in Greater Noida. It was held in a 185,000 square meter exhibition hall, and major automakers all set up exhibitions.
This report will focus on concept vehicles and releases from Tata Motors, Mahindra & Mahindra, and European OEMs. Tata debuted two concept cars, the H5X SUV and the 45X sporty hatchback. Mahindra displayed the G4 Rexton SUV, a rebadged Ssangyong model, and the TUV Stinger concept. The two major Indian companies also exhibited multiple EV models. European OEMs displayed luxury sports cars and EVs, such as the Mercedes-Benz Concept EQ, BMW 6 Series Gran Turismo, and Renault Trezor EV concept.
