It was released in April 2014 for CNY 133,800 to CNY 269,800, which is more than 40% cheaper than a rival Buick GL8. Another rival, Refine M5 by Anhui Jianghuai Automobile, is sold for CNY 100,000 to CNY 150,000 after a price cut of up to CNY 40,000.
The Maxus G10 is driven by a 2.4-liter engine or a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine (maximum output: 165kW). The engine is mated with a 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission. The G10 is equipped with a double panoramic sun-roof.

Note: The original technology corner exhibited the direct-injection gasoline engine, 6-speed and 7-speed TST dual clutch transmissions and a start-stop system of the new powertrain "CUBE-TECH" (MGE and SGE series) that was co-developed with GM. OEM Models Descriptions
SAIC Passenger Vehicle Roewe 950 FCV  A world premiere debut of the concept of the next-generation fuel-cell vehicle (FCV) under SAIC's own brand. It is built on the Roewe 950 platform and is the fourth-generation own-brand FCV. The Roewe 950 FCV is 4996mm long, 1857mm wide and 1502mm high. It has a 2837mm wheelbase and weighs 2084kg.
The FCV represents a fusion between new-energy and weight-reduction technologies. It has a fewer component count than the previous model and operates normally at 20 degrees Celsius below zero. Fuel is supplied from two hydrogen tanks (maximum capacity: 4.18kg of hydrogen compressed to 700bar). It accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in 12 seconds and has a top speed of 160km/h. It has a cruising range of 405km at a constant speed of 60km/h. It consumes 0.93-liter/100km of hydrogen at a constant speed of 60km/h.
The car is fitted with a series FCV system with rated output of 30kW and specific output of 400W/liter or 250W/kg. The compact compressed hydrogen fuel-cell unit (main power source, JY-200B) is mated with a permanent magnet synchronous drive motor (maximum output: 100kW, maximum torque: 270Nm), and medium-capacity (16Ah) lithium iron phosphate storage battery (auxiliary power source, 345V rated voltage). The battery is supplied by in-house production. The on-board charger is a standard feature.
SAIC Commercial Vehicle Maxus V80 Hybrid (PHV)  A premiere debut of a plug-in hybrid microbus (15-seater) based on the Maxus V80 with a range extender. It is 5700mm long, 1998mm wide and 2345mm high and has a 3850mm wheelbase along with a roomy cabin. A range extender (APU with output from 28kW to 110kW maximum) is used for charging the ternary-alloy battery and supplies electric energy to the drive motor.
The PHV has a cruising range of 1000km. It accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in approximately 21 seconds and has a top speed of 120km/h. Its fuel efficiency is approximately 4.8-liter/100km (according to the maker), 60% higher than the equivalent gasoline-fueled van and 40% higher than the diesel-fueled van.
The Maxus V80 Hybrid is equipped with ABS+EBD+BAS, PKE (Passive Keyless Entry), AFS, HID (High Intensity Discharge) headlamps, and four-point type parking radar.

Note: The Roewe E50 production model was exhibited in the new energy vehicles corner (priced at CNY 142,800 after the application of government subsidies in Beijing and Shanghai). The Roewe 550, SAIC's first plug-in hybrid sedan, was also exhibited.
