The "Automotive Industry Major Standards and Regulations Seminar (4th Session)," jointly hosted by CATARC Automotive Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the China Automotive Technology and Research Center Co., Ltd. (CATARC) that conducts testing and verification in areas such as autonomous driving and connected cars, and the Shenzhen Federation of Automotive Industries, was held at CATARC Tech (Pingshan District, Shenzhen) on January 28, 2026. The seminar was themed "Interpretation of prominent laws and regulations, harmonization of standard systems, and revitalization of industrial upgrading," and discussions were held on key issues such as the interpretation and latest trends of pilot policies for automobiles, testing of autonomous driving products, and inspection and certification of automobile cybersecurity. Experts and business representatives from the automotive industry met together to discuss technology paths, policy directions, and implementation strategies to provide st support for the high-quality development of the industry.
This report introduces the content related to intelligent connectivity from the seminar program. The speakers, from theChina Automotive Standardization Research Institute(CASRI) and the China Automotive Strategy and Policy Research Center, introduced the standardization of intelligent connected cars and the adjustment of key technology policies for intelligent connected cars.
