Japanese OEM: Mazda unveils the CX-5, which uses the entire SKYACTIV technologies, for the world premiere, while Subaru's XV SUV debuts

Japanese OEMs exhibitions looked rather quiet as they have the Tokyo Motor Show coming up at the end of the year. Mazda CX-5, which uses Mazda's entire SKYACTIV technologies for the first time, and Subaru's XV SUV are the only new models that debuted. Among Japanese OEMs, Nissan exhibited only the Infiniti brand products, which is why some visitors at the venue wondered "Why are no products under the Nissan brand exhibited?"
