Forum venue for the Green and Smart Auto Shanghai 2024 |
The Green and Smart Auto Shanghai 2024, was held from June 5 to 8 at the Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNEIC). The Expo was organized by CCPIT Shanghai (Shanghai Council for the Promotion of International Trade ), and approximately 200 companies as well as Chinese domestic and foreign automobile brands from more than 40 countries exhibited in the 60,000 square meter venue, displaying about 200 NEV (New Energy Vehicle) models.
The forums held on June 6 were co-hosted by the CCPIT Shanghai, the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), and the China Society of Automotive Engineers (China-SAE). In the morning, the “Forum on Low Carbon Mobility under New Situation, Research on the Development Mode of Vehicle-Road-Network Integration” was held, followed by the “Forum on the Low Carbon Development of Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Vehicles” in the afternoon, focusing mainly on charging infrastructure and fuel cells.
This report introduces the presentations by speakers from the China Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Promotion Alliance (EVCIPA), NIO Co., Ltd., China FAW Group Co., Ltd. (FAW Group), and Dongfeng Motor Corporation (Dongfeng Motor). The China Charging Alliance introduced key points and trends in charging infrastructure-related policies. NIO focused on energy supply and service solutions for highways. The FAW Group also introduced the current status and trends of fuel cell vehicles (FCVs). Dongfeng Motor mainly presented the results of technology development in the hydrogen fuel cell field.
