The Advanced Clean Transportation (ACT) Expo 2024 took place at the Las Vegas Convention Center West Hall in Las Vegas, Nevada, U.S. from May 20 through May 23, 2024. ACT Expo 2024 featured over 400 exhibitors and a keynote stage in the exhibition hall. Outside the convention center, attendees could ride and drive various sustainable commercial vehicles.
Hydrogen technologies were prominently highlighted by several companies at ACT Expo 2024. Major OEMs including Hyundai, Honda, and Toyota, and smaller OEMs such as Hyzon, Nikola, and ZM Motors showcased hydrogen systems and vehicles. Hyundai partnered with Plus for an SAE Level 4 autonomous hydrogen fuel cell truck. Honda debuted its Class 8 Hydrogen Fuel Cell Truck Concept, while Toyota showed its heavy-duty fuel cell electric powertrain kit. Nikola and ZM Trucks included fuel cell commercial vehicles in their sustainable vehicle portfolio, while Hyzon's exhibit highlighted its emphasis on hydrogen fuel cell technologies.
Suppliers such as Faurecia, OPmobility, and Linamar displayed hydrogen storage systems for commercial vehicles. Accelera, Cummins' clean energy technology brand, showcased its new FCE300 fuel cell engine and a Class 8 fuel cell truck developed in partnership with Werner. Joint ventures Symbio and Cellcentric showcased fuel cell systems, and Bosch exhibited its product portfolio for hydrogen fuel cell and hydrogen engine applications. MANN+HUMMEL's display focused on filtration systems for fuel cells.
