Galaxy Starship prototype at Geely Auto’s booth

  The 18th Beijing International Automotive Exhibition (Auto China 2024) was held at the China International Exhibition Center from April 25 to May 4. The exhibition attracted attention from renowned Chinese and non-Chinese automakers, suppliers, and technology exhibitors. The event covered a total area of 220,000 square meters, showcasing 117 world premiere models, 41 concept cars and 278 NEV models. A total of 892,000 people (including 28,000 from outside of China) visited the venue.

  Geely Auto unveiled a prototype of its flagship SUV, the Galaxy Starship, for the first time in the world. The Geely Group’s Lynk & Co brand exhibited several models, including the 07EM-P, 08EM-P, and 09EM-P. Volvo Cars unveiled the EX30 in China for the first time. Polestar showcased the Polestar 3, Polestar 4, and the Polestar Synergy, a sports-type EV concept car. During the Auto China 2024 motor show, Lotus entered into a strategic partnership with NIO related to charging in China.

  In its spacious exhibition space, Great Wall Motor Company Limited (Great Wall Motor, GWM) displayed its five major brands: Haval, WEY, Tank, ORA and POER. Pre-ordering of the Tank 700Hi4-T began, and the WEY brand Blue Mountain intelligent driving version was unveiled for the first time. This model is packed with Great Wall Motor's avant-garde smart technologies including intelligent driving and smart cockpit. The ORA brand announced its "Global Strategy 2.0 Era". The Great Wall POER brand unveiled the POER Sahar Hi4-T, a New Energy Vehicle (NEV) pickup truck. The Haval brand debuted the new H6 for the first time.
