⋆An updated version of this forecast report will be released every quarter

・According to LMC Automotive's production forecast (Quarter 2, 2019), global light vehicle production in 2019 will be 91.18 million units, a decrease of 3% y/y.

・Production has received a downward adjustment compared to the previous forecast (Quarter 1, 2019) amid declining production in China and production for 2021 is also expected to fall short of the 100 million unit mark.

・Among the leading groups, Toyota with continued strong production in China is expected to remain relatively steady towards 2021, while production for VW,   Renault, Nissan and GM is expected to see a decrease for 2019.
