  In the January-April period of 2022, among the sales of New Energy Vehicles, sales of EVs (electric vehicles) reached 1,047,000 units, up 97.8% year-over-year (y/y); 278,000 units of PHVs (plug-in hybrid vehicles) were sold, an increase of 175.5% y/y; and 464 units of fuel cell vehicles (FCVs) sold in the period representing a 2.9% y/y decrease. EVs and PHVs accounted for 79% and 21% of total NEV sales volumes, respectively. The three top-selling companies accounted for 47% of the monthly total, the top 5 companies for 55%, and the top 10 companies for 69% of total New Energy Vehicle sales in April 2022. For the January through April 2022 period, the top 3 companies accounted for 45% of the sales, the top 5 companies for 53%, and the top 10 companies for 69%.
