The China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) announced the production and sales volumes of passenger cars (including sedans, SUVs, MPVs but not minivans) for January 2023.
Retail
January retail sales of passenger cars totaled 1.293 million units, reflecting a year-over-year (y/y) decrease of 37.9%.
New Energy Vehicles (NEVs)
In January, wholesale volumes of NEV passenger cars were 389,000 units, down 7.3% y/y.
