Skoda starts production of Kamiq city SUV
On July 8, Skoda announced the start of production of Skoda Kamiq from its plant in Mlada Boleslav. The compact city SUV completes Skoda’s SUV portfolio at the lower end. The new Skoda Kamiq is based on Volkswagen Group’s MQB platform. 400 new Kamiqs leave the Mlada Boleslav plant each day.
