Supply chain: Geely "Emgrand" Compact Sedan
Geely's compact sedan, the "Emgrand," is available in both gasoline and full hybrid (FHEV) versions. The gasoline model is equipped with a 1.5L 4-cylinder engine. The FHEV combines a 1.5L 4-cylinder gasoline engine with a drive motor that delivers a maximum output of 140 kW. Its strong cost performance and reliability have earned it steady demand as a practical family sedan in overseas markets, including the Middle East, Eastern Europe, and Latin America. It is produced at Geely Auto's Changxing Plant in Huzhou, China. Global sales from January to June 2026 totaled approximately 103,000 units, of which about 91,000 were sold in China and approximately 11,000 outside China. Structural components such as the chassis frame and seat frames are comprehensively supplied by Zhejiang Tion Vanly Tech., a major local manufacturer, while ABS systems are supplied by major global suppliers Bosch and Aumovio. Meanwhile, the vehicle employs a multi-sourcing strategy, with emerging Chinese suppliers such as ECARX supplying the cockpit domain controller and AutoNavi Software supplying navigation map data.
