US July sales down 1.6%
In addition to declining sales of EV models such as Ford's Mustang Mach-E and VW's ID.4, Mazda's CX-5 also posts lower sales than the previous year, weighing on the market. Conversely, SUV sales grow for models including Honda's CR-V, Hyundai-Kia's Sportage, and Geely's Volvo XC90.

Thai June production volume declines 7.6%
Production has been cut back, primarily by Japanese OEMs, due to sluggish exports—particularly to the Middle East. Output falls below year-earlier levels for models such as Toyota’s Hilux Revo, Honda’s Accord, Nissan’s Frontier, and Ford’s Everest. In contrast, Chinese OEMs such as BYD, Changan Automobile, and SAIC Motor increase production.

Supply chain: Chevrolet Silverado 1500
The Chevrolet Silverado 1500 is currently in its fourth generation. A BEV version was added to the lineup in 2023. The GMC Sierra serves as its sister model. A full model change is scheduled for the end of 2026, and GM announced an overview of the next-generation model in June 2026. Production of the gasoline-powered Silverado 1500 is carried out at three plants: the Fort Wayne Plant in Indiana, USA, the Silao Plant in Mexico, and the Oshawa Assembly Plant in Canada. Procurement of components and supplier selection for the Silverado 1500 are characterized by GM's strong partnerships with global suppliers, optimized logistically across North America.
