Supply chain: Toyota Veloz (Indonesia)
The Toyota Veloz, produced in Indonesia, is a 3-row 7-seater MPV that serves as the premium model above the entry-level "Avanza" MPV. It is manufactured at Toyota's Karawang Plant 2. Production volume for the first half of 2026 is approximately 34,000 units. The "Veloz Hybrid EV" was launched in November 2025. It is an affordably priced full-hybrid model in Indonesia's Low MPV segment.
In terms of parts supply, major Japanese suppliers based in Indonesia and the ASEAN region play a central role, including Panasonic Automotive Systems (parking assist ECU), Denso (blind spot monitor sensors, engine ECU, etc.), and EDS Manufacturing Indonesia, the local subsidiary of Yazaki Corporation (engine wiring harnesses, etc.).
