|Feb. 1941||Established as the Usui Seikin Kiki Kenkyusho (Research Facility).|
|1945||Changed name of Company to current name of USUI Kokusai Sangyo Co., Ltd.|
|1949||With the successful development of fuel injection tubes for diesel engines, the Company obtained a patent for a practical new design, and entered the automotive field.|
|1956||Moved its headquarters to the current site. (131-2 Nagasawa, Shimizu-cho, Sunto-gun, Shizuoka Prefecture)|
|1959||Started the construction of a double-walled steel-tubing plant.|
|1963||Started manufacturing plastic fans.|
|1965||Concluded a technical assistance agreement with Schweitzer Corporation (U.S.A.) on technologies dealing with Fan Drive(R).|
|1966||Completed construction of its Izunagaoka Plant and launched full-scale production of Fan Drives(R).|
|1968||Developed Hicolin Tube(R) and started mass production of this product.|
|1973||Completed construction of Ohito Plant and increased the production of Hicolin Tube (R).|
|1976||Concluded a technological partnership agreement with Cefilac of France.|
|1982||Concluded a technical partnership agreement with Kaman Science Corporation (U.S.A.) on technologies dealing with K-ramic ceramic.|
|1986||Concluded a technical corporation with Behr of Germany on technologies dealing with metal carrier.|
|1987||Established USUI International Corp. in U.S.A.|
|1990||Established R&D center for plastic fans in the U.S.A.|
|1991||Launched operations of USUI International Corp.'s Virginia Plant.|
|1992||Concluded a technical corporation with Emitec of Germany on technologies dealing with metal carriers/catalysts|
|1994||Launched operations of USUI International Corp.'s Ohio Plant.|
|1998||Obtained QS9000 certification at its high-pressure pipe plant and functional product (i.e. push rods) plant. It also obtained ISO14001 certifications at its Nagasawa Nishi Plant.|
