-The Company was founded through the merger between Thyssen AG and Friedrich Krupp AG Hoesch-Krupp in 1999.
Organizational restructuring
-On May 26, 2025, the Company announced plans to transform its organization into a strategic holding company. As part of this transformation, the Company will gradually separate all of its operating segments into independent entities open to potential third-party investment. This will provide each operating segment with greater flexibility, transparency and value realization. The Company plans on retaining majority interests across each business segment they become independent.
