| July 1990 | Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation Group (SAIC Group); EK Chor Investment Co. of the Chia Tai Group of Thailand; and Shanghai Longhua Industry Co., Ltd. jointly established Shanghai Ek Chor General Machinery Co., Ltd. |
| June 2000 | Established a variable compressor manufacturing joint venture, Sanden Shanghai Automotive Air Condition with its technical partner, Sanden of Japan. |
| Jan. 2004 | Sanden (Japan) and Behr of Germany acquired 52.5% ownership in the Company. The Company adopted the current name Shanghai Sanden Behr Automotive Air Conditioning Co., Ltd. |
