2007	The Company was officially separated from Tyco International and became an independent company.
May 2008	Entered into a definitive agreement to sell its Radio Frequency Components and Subsystem business to Cobham Defense Electronic Systems.
Sep. 2008	Completed the divestiture of the automotive radar sensors business to Autoliv.
2010	Acquired ADC.
Mar. 2011	Changed its name to TE Connectivity.
Apr. 2012	Acquired Deutsch Group SAS.
Sep. 2014	Acquired American Sensor Technologies Inc., a manufacturer of pressure and position sensing systems.
Oct. 2014	Acquired US-based Measurement Specialties, Inc., a designer and manufacturer of sensors and sensor-based systems, for USD 1.7 billion.
Mar. 2016	Completed the divestiture of the circuit protection business to Littelfuse.
May 2016	Acquired Jaquet Technology Group, a manufacturer of speed sensors
Jan. 2017	The Company's China auto business has started the second phase of its NEPZ Plant expansion project in Suzhou. Approximately USD 100 million is expected to be invested in this project, and new operations are scheduled to begin in 2017.
Aug. 2017	Completed the acquisition of Hirschmann Car Communication (HCC).GmbH, a German-based subsidiary of VOXX International Corporation in the U.S.
Mar. 2020	Completed public takeover of First Sensor AG, a technology company which focuses on connectivity and sensing solutions. With the takeover, the Company owns 71.87% of First Sensor.
Dec. 2023	Completion of the acquisition of Schaffner in Switzerland. The company now owns 98.7% of Schaffner's stock.
