Feb. 1980 The Company changed the Company name to Mando Machinery Corporation.
Mar. 1988 The Company set up a brake system plant in Pyeongtaek.
Aug. 1988 The Company set up a steering system plant in Wonju.
Dec. 1993 The Company and Robert Bosch established a 50-50 joint venture company, Korea Automotive Motor Corporation (KAMCO).
Oct. 1994 The Company established Autoventure Mando Sdn. Bhd. (A.V.M) in Malaysia.
Sep. 1995 The Company set up a suspension system plant in Iksan.
Oct. 1996 The Company established Maysan Mando Otomotive Parcalari Sanayi Ve Ticaret A.S. in Turkey.
Sep. 1997 The Company established Mando Brake Systems India Private Ltd. in India.
Dec. 1999 The Company adopted a new name, Mando Corporation.
Oct. 2000 The Company established Autoliv-Mando jointly with Autoliv of Sweden. The new joint venture is capitalized at 10 million US dollars, of which 35 percent was provided by the Company and 65 percent by Autoliv.
