History

Nov. 1953	Established as Kikuchi Body Kogyo Co. Ltd. at 592, Shimorennjaku, Mitaka-city, Tokyo for the purpose of manufacturing and selling automotive components.
Apr. 1960	Changed the company name to Kikuchi Press Kogyo Co. Ltd.
Mar. 1963	Restructured as a corporation with capital of 10 million yen. Changed the trade name to Kikuchi Press Kogyo Co. Ltd. Headquarters in Mitaka-city, Tokyo.
May, 1964	Started supplying to Honda Motor Co., Ltd.
Jan. 1969	Established new Hamura Plant in Hamura-cho, Nishi Tama-gun, Tokyo and started operations. Hamura Factory was established as a primary assembly base.
Mar. 1973	Established Kikuchi Koki Co. Ltd (design, manufacture and sales of jigs and dies)
May, 1984	Established KTH Parts Industries Inc. in Ohio, US as a joint venture among five companies: Hirata Technical, Hongo Co., Ltd. Takao Kinzoku, American Honda Motor Company Inc. and the company. (manufactures and supplies automotive parts)
Sep. 1987	Capital participation by Honda Motor Co., Ltd. (ownership stake of 9.52%)
May, 1988	Established Jefferson Industries Corporation as a joint venture to manufacture and supply automotive parts. Partners are: the Company, Takao Kinzoku Kogyo, and American Honda Motor Company Inc in Ohio, US.
Aug. 1988	Obtained a 90% stake in Nakamura Mfg. Corporation (mold design and fabrication).
Apr. 1990	Established and started operations of a new technical center and Tochigi plant in Tochigi
Feb. 1991	Established Kikuchi Kosan (leases and manages real estate)
Sep. 1991	Merged Kikuchi Koki Co., Ltd. and Kikuchi Kosan
Sep. 1991	Fully divested from KTH Parts Industries Inc. after Jefferson Industries Corporation started full-scale operations
Feb. 1992	Bought the remaining shares of Nakamura Mfg. Corporation (made the company into a wholly-owned subsidiary)
Nov. 1995	Received Deming Program Prize from the Alliance of Japanese Scientists and Engineers
Nov. 1995	Established Cartec as a joint venture between Kyungdong Boiler and the company in Korea. (manufactures and supplies automotive parts)
Dec. 1995	Established Karmaster Metall Product Inc. (the current Karmaster Inc.) in Michigan, US. (the company's sales base)
Dec.1995	Relocated the headquarters to the Akishima plant site
Apr.1996	Listed on the over-the-counter market of the Japan Securities Dealers Association
Dec. 1996	Established Cape de Brazil Limiteda (changed the company name to Kikuchi Do Brasil Ltda. on Oct,. 16, 2000), a joint venture with Honda Motor Brazil Limitada in Sao Paolo, Brazil to manufacture and sell automotive parts.
Sep. 1997	Technical Center obtained ISO9001
Dec. 1997	Invested in Jefferson Elora Corporation (to manufacture and sell automotive parts, etc.), in Ontario, Canada, a subsidiary to Jefferson Industries Corporation
July 1998	Invested in Austin Tri-Hawk Automotive Inc. for the manufacturing and sales of automotive parts, etc. in Indiana, USA

Oct. 2001	Joined Takao Kinzoku Kogyo Co., Ltd. in establishing"APAC (Auto Parts Alliance China Ltd.)", a manufacturer and sales subsidiary for automotive components, in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, China.
June, 2002	Set up a new plant in Ota-shi, Gunma Pref. and started operations.

Oct. 2003	Changed the company name of Karmaster Inc. to Kikuchi USA Inc.
Mar. 2005	Established a joint venture, Wuhan Auto Parts Alliance Co., Ltd., with Takao Kinzoku Kogyo Co., Ltd. in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China. (The joint venture engages in the manufacture and sale of auto parts.)
Sep. 2005	Established Conghua K&S Auto Parts Co., Ltd. in Guangzhou Chonghua, Guangdong Province, China. (The joint venture engages in the manufacture and sale of auto parts.)
Feb. 2007	Established Global Auto Parts Alliance India Private Ltd. in New Delhi, India, jointly with Takao Kinzoku Kogyo Co., Ltd. (The joint venture engages in the manufacture and sale of auto parts.)
Feb. 2008	Obtained ISO/TS16949 certification.
Apr. 2008	Merged with Nakamura Seisakusho Co., Ltd., its 100% subsidiary.
Sep. 2009	The Company established and started operations at its new plant in Fukaya City, Saitama Prefecture.
Apr. 2010	Dissolved Kikuchi USA Inc.
Apr. 2010	Merged with Takao Kinzoku Kogyo Co., Ltd. and transferred its headquarters to Saitama City, Saitama Prefecture. The company adopted a new corporate name, G-TEKT Corp.
Nov. 2011	Established G-TEKT India Private Ltd. in Rajasthan as a result of reorganizing its Indian subsidiary as part of its business reorganization.
Feb. 2012	Established PT.G-TEKT Indonesia Manufacturing in West Java.
Mar. 2012	Established G-One Auto Parts De Mexico, S.A. DE C.V. in Guanajuato, Mexico as a joint venture with H-One.
