New Company

-In December 2014, KCW (headquarters: Daegu, Korea), a wiper production and sales company in the Kyung Chang Industrial Group, announced that it will establish a 50-50 joint venture with Bosch Electrical Drives. The new company, KB Wiper Systems (tentative name), will develop, produce, and sell wiper systems. It will be capitalized at KRW 5 billion. (From a press release on December 10, 2014)

Certification

-The Company has been given the 5-star quality rating from Hyundai Motor and Kia Motors. The company has received 5-star from Hyundai-Kia in all categories, including technology, delivery and quality. (From a press release, April 1, 2013)

Technological Alliance

-In April 1995, the Company concluded an agreement to succeed the technology introduction agreement between Mando Corporation of Korea and JIDECO of Japan (merged with Mitsuba Corporation in April 2007), which was entered into in April 1984. Under the agreement the Company receives technical support from JIDECO on the production of wiper motors, door lock actuators and power window motors.
