-Revenue for FY ended Dec. 31, 2013 increased by 0.6% year-on-year. Considering the slowdown in the markets in important segments (ships, large diesel engines, energy) as well as negative currency effects, the Company could achieve the increase as a strategic partner to the international automotive industries.

Joint Ventures

Miba Sinter Group
-In December 2013, the Company signed an agreement to increase Its interest in Mahle Metal Leve Miba Sinterizados Ltda in Indaiatuba, Brazil, by 10% from 30 to 40%. In addition, Miba has also agreed to strengthen the transfer of technology to the Brazilian manufacturing site so as to expand the present portfolio through the addition of new products. The joint venture between the Company and the Mahle Group has been in existence since 1998. Mahle Metal Leve Miba Sinterizados Ltda manufactures sintered components for the South American automotive industry.

Significant Events after January 2014

-In March 2014, Miba Energy Holding LLC signed a purchase agreement to acquire 30% of the shares in EBG LLC. As a result, Miba Energy Holdings LLC now holds 100% of EBG LLC's shares.
-In March 2014, Miba China Holding GmbH acquired 100% of the newly formed Miba Asia Holding Pte. Ltd., Singapore.
-In March 2014, Miba Asia Holding Ptd. Ltd., Singapore signed a purchase agreement to acquire 100% of the shares in Shenzhen Rui Xi Si Te Industry Co. Ltd. Settlement is planed to take place in June 2014.

Investent Outside Europe

<China>
-In March 2013, Miba Precision Components (China) Co. Ltd. (MPCC) celebrated the official opening of phase II - the expansion phase with a tripling of the plant's production area - in Suzhou Industrial Park, Jiangsu Province, China. Local production of engine bearings, sintered components and innovative coatings guarantees proximity to the international customers in Asia. The Friction division will also begin production of friction materials at the Suzhou site in the upcoming months. In total, around EUR 35 million was invested in the construction and expansion of the site. MPCC construction began in Suzhou on phase II, the expansion project, in 2012. In this phase, an additional area of approximately 16,000 square meters was built from the end of 2012 to the end of 2013. With this expansion, the site now has a total area of 24,000 square meters. Around 400 employees already work at the Suzhou site. With the expansion and the newly constructed area, the structures for a total of 1,000 employees have been created.
