Shaanxi Fast Auto Drive Group Company Business Report FY ended Dec. 2015

Recent Development

-Shaanxi Fast Gear Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the Company, announced that it has completed a production line to assemble its S-series transmissions. The new line uses advanced technologies to enable on-line assembly of bearings and shafts, enabling the mass production of the S-series. (From a press release on January 4, 2016)

-In September 2015, the Company's "Commercial vehicle transmission manufacturing IOT application" project passed audit.

-The Company showcased its eight new driveline products such as transmissions, retarders, and clutches for buses at the 2015 China Beijing International Exhibition on Buses, Trucks & Components. The Company's exhibits included the 5DS50T fuel-saving transmission for compact buses; the 6DS100T lightweight transmission with an aluminum case for large city buses and luxury buses; and the DS series bus transmission, for which the company obtained the intellectual property rights. The DS series transmissions, which were developed in-house at the company, are now used on over 330 models from more than 10 bus manufacturers, which include Yutong Bus, Suzhou King Long, and Xiamen King Long. -In March 2015, Fast Auto Drive (Thailand) Co., Ltd., the Company's subsidiary, delivered first batch of transmissions to customers.

Contracts

-The Company announced that it has won an exclusive supply contract from Yangzhou Yaxing Motor Coach Co., Ltd. to provide transmissions for 144 Yangzhou Yaxing buses that will be exported to Saudi Arabia. This business is the largest program that Shaanxi Fast has ever won for the Saudi Arabian market. Of all 144 buses, 122 units will be equipped with 5J100T/5J120T transmissions, while the remaining 22 units will be equipped with 6DS150T/6DS150TB transmissions. Strategic Cooperation

-The Company announced that the company and King Long Motor signed a strategic partnership agreement in Xiamen, Fujian Province on December 21, 2015. In accordance with the agreement, the company will closely collaborate with the King Long Motor Group on product planning, designing, and development in order to create high-end products that meet the growing needs of the market. R&D Activities

-The Company announced that it will receive financial support from the city of Baoji for its all-aluminum transmission case project in January 2015. Patents

-The Company announced that its lock-pin type automobile synchronizer received the 16th China Excellent Patent Award from the State Intellectual Property Office in January 2015. This technology has also obtained patents in the U.S., Canada, and Russia. The technology is already applied to Shaanxi Fast's 9JSD, 10JSD, 12JSD, and 16JSD transmissions. The lock-pin type synchronizer with a longer service life and higher performances, increases the synchronizer capacity of the auxiliary transmission, and improves transmission performances. Investments in China

-The Company announced that it will construct a transmission plant at the Baoji Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone at the end of December 2014. The new plant, which will be constructed on a 533,600 square meter plot, will have the capacity to produce 1 million transmissions for medium and small size trucks.
