Producing diesel engines compliant with the China 3 Emissions Standard

-Even before the China 3 Emissions Standard for light-duty trucks of 3.5 tons or less went into effect on July 1, 2009, the Company had already been producing diesel engines compliant with the Standard, using three different technologies. The three technologies are single, electronic control pumps; electronic control high pressure common rail systems; and electronic control VE pumps with exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) systems. All of these, which obtained certification by the Chinese government, are used in vehicles manufactured by FAW-Hongta Yunnan Automobile, FAW Group Harbin Light Duty Truck, Zhucheng Aoling Automobile Factory, Beqi Foton Motor, and Shenyang Jinbei Automotive. Starting up the prototype CA6DLD-30E4 engine.

-The Company succeeded in starting up the prototype of its new proprietary CA6DLD-30E4 engine. The 6.6-liter engine rotates at 2,300rmp and has a rated output of 220kw and a maximum torque of 1,100Nm. It is equipped with a 1,800 bar, high-pressure common rail injection system and an EGR cooling system. The company also introduced a double supercharged system for the first time. The engine's maximum explosion pressure is 180 bar, which meets the China lV emissions standards. (From a press release on September 18, 2009)

Producing proprietary natural gas engine

-The Company started commercial production of its proprietary natural gas engine. The new engine will be able to maintain the same high level of power as that produced by conventional diesel engines, while offering a 40 percent reduction in pollutant releases.(From a press release in October, 2009)

Completing new production lines

-The Company completed its new production lines that will produce its 11-liter, CA6DM heavy-duty diesel engines which the company developed. The Company has acquired the intellectual property rights associated with the engine. Being equipped with major equipment imported from Germany, the production lines are capable of producing 15,000 engines per year. (From a press release in December, 2009)
