Business Overview

-Largest manufacturer of pistons in China.

-As of December 2018, the Company produces over 1,000 types of pistons, which are 30-400 millimeters in diameter. It has the capacity to produce over 30 million pistons and 10 million piston rings per year.

-Products are supplied to major engine manufacturers in China. As of December 2018, the Company gained a 35% market share in the domestic Chinese market. It is one of the few companies in China that can produce products meeting Euro IV and Euro V emission standards. It has markets in North America, Europe, East Asia, and the Middle East.

Feb. 2005 Acquired Changchun Bohai Piston Co., Ltd.
Dec. 2010 The Company will transfer all the shares it has in Huimin Bohai Piston Co., Ltd. to Binzhou Mengwei Slinger Cylinder Liner Co., Ltd..
Mar. 2011 The production at Changchun Bohai Piston Co., Ltd. was stopped.
Jun. 2014 Changchun Bohai Piston Co., Ltd. was deregistered.
Aug. 2016 The Company set up "Beijing Hainachuan Hanon Automotive Parts Co.,Ltd." with Hanon Systems.
Feb. 2017 The Company set up "Bohai Johnson Controls Battery Co., Ltd." with Johnson Controls.
Feb. 2017 The Company set up "Johnson Controls Bohai Battery (Binzhou) Co., Ltd." with Johnson Controls.
Jun. 2017 The Company set up a wholly-owned subsidiary named "Binzhou Bohai Piston Co., Ltd."
Nov. 2017 The Company changed its name to "Bohai Automotive Systems Co., Ltd."
Aug. 2018 The Company acquired 75% shares in TRIMET Automotive Holding GmbH and the plants of its subsidiaries in Harzgerode and Soemmerda.
