Business Overview

-The Company is a manufacturer of electronic components. The Company is engaged in three business areas: components, sensors and communications, and mobility. In addition, the Company boasts many types of core technologies such as in mechatronic design, magnetics, high-frequency, electrostatics, acoustics, IC design, and software.

-In January 2019, Alpine was made a wholly owned subsidiary through a stock-share swap. As a result, the company became Alps Alpine. In April 2020, the Company took over all of Alpine's business, except for some asset holdings and management businesses, by merging and absorbing the operations.

-The automotive business accounts for 65% of the Company's total sales. Among automotive products, the Company claims to have the largest market share of power window switches, door opening/closing switches, and charger connection detection switches, based on the Company's own research done in 2024.
