Russian vehicle sales increase 11.8% in April 2026
The 129,521 new vehicles sold in Russia in April 2026 represented an increase of 11.8% compared to the same month in 2025 according to the Avtoselkhozmash Holding release on May 14.
The 422,330 new cars and LCVs sold in the first four months of 2026 represented an increase of 5.6% over the same period in 2025.
Passenger Cars sales in April 2026 represented a 15.7% increase to 116,170 units from 2025, Light commercial vehicles sales represented a 22.9% decrease to 5,925 units, Pickups represented a 9.3% decrease to 1,687 units, Trucks sales represented a 0.8% decrease to 4,944 units, Buses sales represented a 15.2% decrease to 795 units.
Among the five largest passenger car brands in Russia in April 2026, Lada sales were up 12.0% to 31.960 units, Haval sales were up 27.8% to 16,512 units, TENET sales were 11,995 units, Geely sales were down 1.7% to 7,057 units, BelGee sales were up 47.0% to 5,746 units.

Russian vehicle sales increase 25.0% in March 2026
The 115,369 new vehicles sold in Russia in March 2026 represented an increase of 25.0% compared to the same month in 2025 according to the Avtoselkhozmash Holding release on April 10.
The 292,809 new cars and LCVs sold in the first three months of 2026 represented an increase of 3.1% over the same period in 2025.
Passenger car sales in March 2026 represented a 31.5% increase to 102,836 units from 2025, Light commercial vehicle sales represented a 14.8% decrease to 5,468 units, Pickups represented a 10.7% decrease to 1,548 units, Truck sales represented a 9.8% decrease to 4,651 units, Bus sales represented a 16.2% increase to 866 units.
Among the five largest passenger car brands in Russia in March 2026, Lada sales were down 0.2% to 25,157 units, Haval sales were up 50.5% to 14,762 units, TENET sales were 10,292 units, Geely sales were up 20.8% to 6,698 units, BelGee sales were up 113.1% to 5,181 units.

Russian vehicle sales decrease 1.8% in February 2026
The 88,710 new vehicles sold in Russia in February 2026 represented a decrease of 1.8% compared to the same month in 2025 according to the Avtoselkhozmash Holding release on March 9. Commercial vehicle sales fell sharply due to high interest rates, higher prices, and higher scrap taxes.
The 177,440 new cars and LCVs sold in the first two months of 2026 represented a decrease of 7.4% over the same period in 2025.
Passenger Cars sales in February 2026 represented a 3.1% increase to 78,685 units from 2025, Light commercial vehicles sales represented a 28.9% decrease to 4,253 units, Pickups represented a 18.9% decrease to 1,383 units, Trucks sales represented a 31.2% decrease to 3,911 units, Buses sales represented a 21.9% decrease to 478 units.
Among the five largest passenger car brand in Russia in February 2026, Lada sales were down 22.4% to 19,070 units, Haval sales were up 6.1% to 10,153 units, TENET sales were 8,628 units, Geely sales were down 7.4% to 5,075 units, BelGee (JV of Belarus state and Geely) sales were up 134.9% to 4,694 units.

Russian vehicle sales decrease 12.4% in January 2026
The 88,730 new vehicles sold in Russia in January 2026 represented a decrease of 12.4% compared to the same month in 2025 according to the Avtoselkhozmash Holding on March 3.
Passenger Cars sales in 2026 represented a 9.0% decrease to 79,485 units from 2025, Light commercial vehicles sales represented a 27.7% decrease to 4,147 units, Pickups represented a 30.0% decrease to 1,289 units, Trucks sales represented a 43.7 % decrease to 3,241 units, Buses sales represented a 10.4% decrease to 568 units.
Among the five largest passenger car brand in Russia in January 2026, Lada sales were down 28.6% to 19,669 units, Haval sales were down 9.3% to 10,731 units, TENET sales were 8,959 units, Geely sales were down 23.4% to 5,183 units, BelGee (JV of Belarus state and Geely) sales were up 62.3% to 2,948 units.
