The Automotive Engineering Exposition 2022 (May 25-May 27, 2022) was held at the Pacifico Yokohama exhibition and convention center as the first real auto industry exhibition in three years. According to the organizer, the Society of Automotive Engineers of Japan (JSAE), the total number of registered visitors for the three days was 43,665, which was lower than the number of visitors to the event prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, which had more than 90,000 visitors, but the venue was nonetheless crowded.

This report introduces e-Axle, motors, inverters, and other exhibits from Tier 1 suppliers, as well as in-wheel motors and unique electric powertrain proposals
