Similar to last year's Shanghai Motor Show, many NEVs (New Energy Vehicle) were exhibited at the Beijing Motor Show 2018, with many state-run and major private automakers, as well as several emerging EV automakers showcasing their vehicles.
The origins of the emerging EV automakers vary, with some companies being established by the founders of IT-related companies, while others have been established by former employees of major OEMs. This report will cover NEVs by some of the notable emerging EV automakers.
