Part 2 of the Beijing Motor Show 2018 report will focus primarily on the Chinese OEMs, which in recent years have demonstrated incredible growth.
Specifically, this report will cover the OEMs such as Geely Auto, a subsidiary of the Zhejiang Geely Holding Group, Great Wall, which unveiled an EV concept model from its new brand, BYD, the leading Chinese EV automaker in terms of vehicle sales, Chery, the leading exporter of vehicles out of China, JAC and Zotye, which signed joint venture agreements with VW and Ford, and Lifan, an automaker that began as a motorcycle manufacturer.
All automakers focused on exhibiting their EV models. Additionally, major automakers also showed an emphasis on promoting PHV models. It would not be exaggerating to say that NEVs (New Energy Vehicles) truly were the stars of the Beijing Motor Show.
