  On November 3, 2023, the 1st China Auto Software Conference, sponsored by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), was held in Jiading District, Shanghai. Under the theme of "Concentrating the Power of Software to Build a Digital and Smart Future," the conference featured one conference forum and four thematic sessions. The conference focused on the latest technologies, applications, and development trends in China’s automotive software, beginning with such hot topics as smart-connected, basic software, software development applications, and automotive industry software. The conference addressed issues such as how automotive software can facilitate the industry's shift to digitalization and smart technology, and how software technology can be used to improve vehicle safety, comfort, and environmental friendliness.

  In Theme Forum 3, "Reimagining smart ecosystems, enabling transformation through software," companies presented their achievements and experiences in the field of automotive software development with regard to the construction of a new smart ecosystem for automobiles, centered on the SDV (Software Defined Vehicle). This report summarizes the presentations by Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Ltd. (CATL) and Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. (Huawei).
