Auto Shanghai 2025, officially known as the 21st Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition, was held at the Shanghai National Exhibition and Convention Center from April 23 through May 2, 2025. The total exhibition space exceeded 360,000 square meters, and nearly 1,000 companies from 26 countries and regions exhibited. A total of 1.01 million people visited the motor show, including 63,000 from outside China. According to the organizers, during the press days on April 23 and 24, more than 100 new models were unveiled for the first time and more than 150 press conferences were held.
This report focuses on new NEVs and other new developments exhibited by the SAIC Motor Corp., Ltd. (SAIC) at the 2025 Shanghai Motor Show, including its subsidiaries Roewe, MG, Maxus, IM Motors, Baojun, and SAIC-GM-Wuling. The product lineups cover a wide range of powertrains, including BEVs and PHVs. Notable models on display at the event included Roewe's new family sedan "D6," the concept car "Pearl," MG's model year (MY) 2026 two-seater EV sports car "Cyberster" and the box-shaped compact off-road vehicle "Cyber X," the Maxus "G50 Hybrid," IM's MY2025 "L6" and by-wire AI cockpit concept, Baojun's new flagship sedan "Xiangjing," and Wuling's MY2025 "Wuling Xingguan."
